There’s been something I’ve been thinking about for quite some time now, and thanks to my girl Lee’s latest blog post on From My Side of the Moon, the fire’s been rekindled to get something going in Toronto!
The US, UK and Australia get Vampire Diaries fan events, but Canada hasn’t been invited to the party yet, although we’ve given TVD some of our finest talent, particularly Toronto girl Nina Dobrev. So here’s my idea. Let’s get a Twitter campaign going to show support and interest for a Vampire Diaries fan event in Toronto, and see who we can get as guest(s) of honor. I’m researching who we need to talk to in order to make this happen, and I’ll keep you all updated.
In the meantime, let’s get interest going by using the hashtag #TOneedsTVD when talking about it on Twitter. The more interest there is, the better the chances that there will be a TVD event on Canadian soil!

Vancouver needs some TVD as well!
I agree with you Gaggan, Vancouver needs some TVD love as well, especially since they filmed the pilot there. Really, I’m for a TVD event anywhere on Canadian soil.
i agree TVD has also not been to New York yet!!!!!!:(
