Primeval Resurrected by BBC America

Primeval Resurrected by BBC America

Back in June, ITV announced the cancellation of its series Primeval. I’d been planning to watch it over the summer, but put it on hold indefinitely to catch up on some returning series.

Earlier today, a huge announcement was made – BBC America would be resurrecting Primeval!

BBC America’s Anglophenia Blog shared:

The groundbreaking deal between Impossible Pictures Limited (IPL), BBC Worldwide (BBCW) and ITV, will deliver 13 new episodes in 2011. It will also ensure that the spectacular special effects that have made Primeval such a huge success will continue throughout the new season.

Primeval fans, are you thrilled by this news? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

And I guess I’ll be tracking down the first 3 seasons to catch up between now and 2011!
