I thought I’d try something different, and hand the reins over to the readers by posing this question:
If you had the power to bring back any show, and you could only pick one, which would you choose?
Would it be one that wasn’t given a fair chance, like Firefly? Or something like Friends that had an excellent run, but new episodes would be some good comfort food for the cold months? Maybe a series that felt unresolved when it ended, like Veronica Mars?
Comment away!

I really miss the shows that let you live in the moment and get wrapped up in the cheesy characters and let you forget what was going on in your life. I would bring back The Gilmore Girls, Family Ties, Cosby Show, The Littlest Hobo, Seinfeld. Ok so I want to go back to the cheese… But I love the cheese!
I’d bring back lots (although some you can find on t.v. still doing the re-run thing):
V (Most ppl have NO idea what this is but it existed -I know it did. Circa 1983-4ish)
WonderWoman
Punky Brewster
(The Original) Dr. Who
Fraggles (but they’re on teletoon retro so wee-hoo to that)
The Muppet Show
I’m sure there are more but thats all that comes to mind before the a.m. coffee.
Oh yeah, and Twin Peaks was some good t.v. too
I would bring back The Champions.
Celena, ABC just recently gave the green light to a new V pilot. Don’t know if it’ll be a re-imagining like the new Battlestar Galactica. I never watched it then, but I may watch it this time around.
Ohhh….MacGyver, Greatest American Hero, 21 Jump Street, Charles in Charge, Dear Aunt Agnes. Hell lets just bring back the 80′s t.v. schedule, throw in Leave it to Beaver (kids today could use a lesson from the Beav) mix it with some British t.v. shows and I will officially LOVE t.v.. Wouldn’t mind old school Much Music either. The Steve Anthony, Erica Ehm days.
For all of us girls now in our late 20s/early 30s, it’s obvious. My So-Called Life. Even though Claire was smart enough not to get stuck in a character (a la Jennifer Aniston/Rachel Green), two more seasons would have just enough.
Two words. Pushing. Daisies.
A travesty that this quirky, but ridiculously clever show didn’t get a fair chance.
Two more words. Beans. Baxter. ‘Nuff said.
FOREVER KNIGHT. I am still bitter about how that show ended.
Sliders (*before* Wade and Arturo were written off the show)
Popular
Veronica Mars
Fraggle Rock
OLD MUCH MUSIC – anything late 80′s to late 90′s…before it went to pot.
Quantum Leap
Herman’s Head (and people wonder why I have a warped sense of humour…)
MODELS INC. That is all.
ABC’s ‘Miracles’.
FOR SURE!!!
God, i miss that.
Bring back Emergency! Good ol’ Squad 51…
I would love to have seen more of Moonlight or Jericho.
