My friends, it’s been a while since I last posted. So let me start off by wishing each of you a very happy 2009!
I have spent the past couple of months establishing 2 new blogs about shows that I adore, Saturday Night Live, and How I Met Your Mother. If you haven’t had a chance to check those out, I encourage you to do so! I also contributed a feature interview with Californication and King of the Hill’s Pamela Adlon to one of my favourite television websites, TheTVAddict.com.
Now that those two blogs are up and running, I will return to regular posts on this blog. In fact, my new year’s resolution is to blog here daily, even if just a brief post.
In fact, I was inspired by Torchwood’s mission statement to create my own for 2009. Here goes:
The Televixen: inside the blogosphere, beyond the mainstream; tracking down intriguing television on her PVR, the internet, and on DVD, and sharing her insights on what’s on TV. 2009 is when it all changes. And The Televixen is ready.
That being said, I should get to work on some exciting new content, including the highly anticipated second part of my Gareth David-Lloyd article, and my observations on two new shows I recently started watching, Smallville and Mad Men. Thanks to all of you for reading in 2008, and here’s to 2009!
